The Hurricane Alex Story
On July 1, 2010, the after-affects of Hurricane Alex hit Monterrey with severe flooding. Mexican President Felipe Calderon declared a state of emergency and Monterrey a disaster area. While our plant was spared, the devastation was wide-spread and dramatic. With the mountainous terrain and rocky ground the water tore through the town with great force destroying or burying everything in its path.
