We’ve come a long way baby! The story of Thierica Automation & Equipment dates to 1945 when two brothers in Grand Rapids Michigan started a small company to produce production paint tooling. Ted and Harry Szczepanski started making fabricated paint masks in a garage on the west side of Grand Rapids. Their first customers were in the appliance and automotive businesses.

By the mid 1950’s the company had relocated to 900 Clancy NE in Grand Rapids. While the corporate headquarters is still at that address, Thierica has now grown to several divisions in Michigan and Mexico.
